Anyone ever checked out this site?:
http://www.icwhen.com/book/
I have done some searches on it, and it seems like a good site, but I am still skeptical... they have some detailed info, like sales numbers, and I was wondering whether people could confirm / deny some of the info. Not everything, but does it seem pretty kosher here, or what?

I have no clue about reliability, but as far as sheer information, holy crap. I cannot imagine setting up that amount of information.

That site is run by Don Thomas who worked at Atari for years. I'd say it is pretty darn accurate :)

Well, he's got info for the decades, and stuff on many companies, not just Atari... but I agree... I've looked at it some more since my first post, and it looks pretty good. I only looked at the Golden era stuff, but pretty cool nonetheless. It's nice that it is searchable (and free!).
I guess I am just naturally skeptical. :)

I was Don's Site Of The Month a couple of years ago - so of course I'll stick up for him. :D Seriously though, there's a TREASURE TROVE of industry info there, and it's all highly recommended. Last time I was there it looked like he'd gone into hibernation a bit though.

I have been there before I have one problem though
It is a bit too Atarified. Other than that good work.

Don's site ICwhen.com is as reliable a source as you can find. He was an Tramiel Atari employee, PlayStation peripheral licensing manager, and was with Nuon till the bitter end :(
Due to some job changes and relocations the site has not been updated much the last year. Let's hope Don can find some time to soon to catch up on things.
You can certainly trust his integrity and intentions more than any other "atari museum" sites.

Besides Don having inside Atari info, and more info just from press releases etc collected while in the industry, I helped proof the site a while back. Not tooting my own horn mind, but shows that Don also is reasonable about updating information when somebody finds discrepancies, which makes it even better. It's pretty reliable I think.
