Howdy I was just wondering if anyone can help me identify some activision games I found at a toy mall. The games are Freeway and Tennis. They have no pictures on them but are instead covered with completely red labels. The names of the games are typed on tags stuck on the top of the cartridge with there numbers on them. AG-009 FREEWAY AG-007 TENNIS. I have a picture if there is a chance anyone can help me. I am not really into atari collecting (Mostly NES) but I have come across a few hundred carts that I have added to my collection and I have never seen anything like these. Please Help.

Those would be prototypes (unless they're fakes), my friend!
I've a bunch of them here. Sometimes they're straight single-color cart labels, sometimes they have "Activision" printed on the label, all of them are typed onto a white label stuck over the cartridge label.
I could scan a few in for ya if you'd like to compare.

Awesome It would be great if you could send me some scans for comparison. I thought any chance I would ever have at a prototype would have to be from ebay. I only paid 2 bucks for each so I am happy. Yesterday I was at the flea market and found Steel Battalion for XBOX in the box for $50. Some good finds two weeks in a row. I think I am on a roll.

I grabbed a handful, this shows a pretty common variety of styles used by Activision beta carts.

Well, these sound pretty common -- they can't be worth much, right, DP?

"Common"?
Well as prototypes go, I suppose so. But even the most common of prototypes is worth more than 90% of the released games for a system, even the "rare" ones.

Those look about right. The only difference is that mine have different style labels that the game name and numbers are typed on. Thanks for all the help and quick replies.
