View Full Version : Is there a definitive PSX Longbox list?

I'm looking for a complete list of all the longbox format games released for the Playstation. If there's one here, I'm having trouble finding it. I checked the rarity lists and did a few forum searches...to no avail. I found a list at GameFaqs, but since it didn't have the longbox game I found today (Romance of the 3 Kingdoms IV) that sparked my search for a list, I'm not putting too much faith in it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rich

Look at Joe's Collectors Closet article. The archive is somewhere at Digital Press. He wrote the list in one of the issues a couple of months ago.

Not sure which article is the one Marty was talking about, but it should be there.
If not, Kristine (Queen of the Felines) would probably know where to point you :)

Whoa. Okay.. That's a lot.

I have two of them though. DOOM and Rayman. And was hopig to go after them all.. guess I better get started. ;)

Who's the idiot who decided to make the titles face the wrong way? :o

In fact, I didn't even KNOW there were longbox PSX games until one day I was asking about PSX DOOM. Someone mentioned the Longbox (Or "Big Box" as I like to call it.) version and I just had to have it... Didn't take long. Saw it at Gamestop the next day.

What's even weirder is that I would have noticed something like big boxes at the Game Stop in the PSX section. But until I actually knew about them, I never saw any. Now they're all over the place...!

I'm going to lock this topic since there's a lengthy one already in progress!

I defer you here. Please feel free to chime in if you have anything to add:
