I mean honestly... does anyone know why these never appear in New England? I'm aching to check out an arcade auction, but sheesh, they're never closer than Jersey! ;)

I went to the Arcade Auction that was in PA..
I saw Mike from Videogameconnections there (NAVA meetings)
I didn't say anything so I may be wrong..
(AS I WROTE IN ANOTHER SITE)
I bought a Merit Megatouch Countertop/and resold it the same day..delivered...I had an order for one so it wasn't for myself..
I bought a Touchmaster 7000 counter top...that I'm keeping..My wife loves it..(It plays real nice)Ok,I love it too..: )
I think I need some plate that goes on the front for decoration though..(?)
But from looking at pictures of them on ebay I think I'm wrong.
Various PCBs..
I need to test the PCBs before I sell them,If I can test them..
If the PCBs are testable by my means then I will show pictures of them working...otherwise I'm selling them as is..
I also have to do research on this stuff so any info is appreciated..
Victory Road PCB with Control Panel/Rotary Sticks/Buttons/Large Marquee/smaller marquee and a smaller marquee or art..
Namco Tekken 1 PCB with a red Control Panel/less the buttons and sticks...I'm not sure if the control panel is the original though...but I like the look of it..(I may use it for something)
The Metal Control panel itself looks like it's from a generic cab,,The front corners are indented like the Victory Roads control panel.,though it may be the right one,not sure..
Turtles in Time PCB
Final Lap 3 PCB
Air Inferno PCB
Operation T-Bolt PCB
Mortal Combat II PCBs..Two sets..(By Midway)
SNK Guerilla War(this board is mint)
Ms Pac Man Filter bd.
Rotary Crane bd.
1/2 Pint Frenzy bd.
3 misc control panels that came with the boards..with & without sticks and buttons..
CPSII A+ B board/Marvel Superheroes..(Something new I'm getting into)
Neo Geo 4 Slot Mother Board with Cross hatch prob.(Fixing)
15-20 Large Marquees/Stuff like Vs Exitebike/Time Pilots/Super Pac Man& Pac Man/Altered Beast/NBA Jam TE..
I still have to look through them..& I still have many from last time.
I bought around 50 large Glass marquees..some were on order.(heavy shit)A real pain in the ass,but they sell..
People like to put them on the walls of their basements.
Stuff like /Players Choice/Let's Make a Deal/Lucky 7s ..etc..(I have to look through them)
I may have missed something since I put it all away..(I need a break from it..It's a lot of stuff)
I can take pictures of anything if interested in seeing what certain things look like..I just would like to test the stuff if I can before I sell any of it.
Some of it's going on Ebay/Some of it is sold, pending &,Some of it I'm keeping..

I have a bunch of pictures of some of this stuff up on another site.
I love Arcade auctions..
My total spending besides the sold Merit Top was $960.00..
I buy and sell..
I didn't go for cabs this time only parts..

I would love to hit up the MI Pinball at the Zoo and the June OH date with someone from the board. Anybody care to go? I know there has to be someone in the area that collects Cabs also.

I went to the one in atlanta last year. They had maybe 3 to 4 rows of video games. The problem is they had hundreds of slot/video poker machines. And they were auctioned off first. Also if you want to play any of the games get there early and bring a long extention cord. you can play any games you want but you must bring your own extention cord to plug the game up. I never made it to the video game auctions I could not sit through all the slot/video poker auctions.

Been to 3.. Good place to pick up a cab and monitor for MAME'ing. Though I love seeing the pinball machines, they go for way to much IMHO.

They did the same thing at the one I went to in Texas last winter. Fortunately for us, all the slots went pretty quick (like within an hour or so) so they got to the games pretty quickly.
SuperAuctions isn't a place for GREAT deals, but you can get some decent deals if you hang around long enough and wait for the right machine. You can also usually get a good deal on a machine if it needs a little work. I got my Neo Geo cab for $175 because the right controller and buttons weren't working (the ground wire had come off -- I stuck it back on, works great now).

I've been going to these on a regular basis for about 3 years now. They can be a good source for stuff and are a lot of fun to go to even if you don't end up buying anything!
Worst case you usually end up meeting other collectors and can make some side deals. That's where I've done the best!
Give one a shot. It's not that far to Dallas!!

Good! You may see me there with some freinds, I'm looking for a 4-player cab (Simpsons, TMNT, X-Men) to turn into a mega-MAME cab.

I would like to go to one, but I will probably have to wait around a year or so till I get a car, and have money to spend.... how much do decent machines generally go for anyway?
