HELP! I can't get any sound in ePSXe. Can somebody help me?

I'm trying to get ePSXe to work, to check it out. I can get the video working, but I can't get any sound.

I've tried all kinds of different sound plugins.

What am I doing wrong?

By the way, it's a Soundblaster Live. 5.1 sound card that I have, and I'm running Windows XP.

But I've heard that ePSXe is kindof like the standard by which all PSX emulators should be judged.

Maybe for some. But all I will use is EmuRayden.
Pop in a PS1 cd and it works perfect every time.

I'll have to agree here. Easy is always my first choice when it comes to emulating! :)

Ok, I took everybodies advice, and downloaded Emurayden.

Well, it has a problem too.

Something about the CD-Rom drive. I can't really tell what the error really is, because the error message is in Spanish!

What the hell am I going to do?

Why is this so damn hard?

Aim me and I'll send you my copy of Emurayden. Or I can e-mail it to you.
It's in English and it's cracked for playing backups also. :D

What was the last version of this emulator? I really haven't kept up on it and I have v2.2. I installed it tonight once again since I didn't have it installed after I reloaded my system. Still great stuff! I haven't played Metal Gear Solid in quite awhile :)
