I just put my old Nintendo Storage Chest for sale up on EBay, but I'll be happy to sell it to someone here first if they make me a good offer:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3071544860

I also have two NES games -- Silent Service and Star Trek 25th Anniversary with original boxes. The manuals are just photocopies, but the boxes and games are in great shape!

And I have old manuals for the NES Advantage, a Service Guide for the SNES (what they used to put into every box) and a instruction book for the N64.

Let me know if anyone wants the above stuff. Thanks!

(For trade reference, I've traded with Maxlords a couple times, and a couple other people here on DP as well).

I have that same trunk! Also, like yours, the top of mine has seen better days, for the trunk was used commonly for a coaster in my Jr. High years.

My brother has one of those too. It's really nice.

Yes, well, it's all fine and good that you have one allready, you see, but I'd rather you tell people ABOUT the auction who might want one! ;)

Or some of my other items. I forgot to mention prices on those -- I'll let them go for a couple bucks.

Don't forget that whenever someone replies, it works in your favor as a BUMP you didn't have to do yourself :D.

Oh, trust me, I know. Why do you think I'm replying? :D

Oh MAN! I'd LOVE to have that Trunk! I doubt I'd ever be able to win it, though. Oh well.. good luck to whoever does get it.

Hell, I'd want it for the top picture alone. The same one on my School Folder from 1989. I call it "Mario Pedophile". LOL

BTW. What are the dimentions.. or "dimention" of that thing? Looks like a cube. But how big?

You know, a possible bidder asked me that, and I honestly know. See, the trunk is at home with the folks -- they are the ones who will be shipping and they took the pics. (Heck, they are happy to help -- makes room for them and I promised them a good chunk of the money. LOL ) It IS a cube, and I can guess that it's about two and a half fleet big both width and length. The inside is wood, but smooth and polished and in great shape, as opposed to the minor wear and tear on the thing. :)

As I said, since no one has bid yet, I'll be happy to close the auction and sell it to someone on here if it's a good offer.

I think I've spent enough this week... unfortunately. I wish I had seen this earlier.

BTW, how can you afford to ship it for $15 if it's 2 and a half feet? I would think it'd be a lot more. Wow. Maybe I'm just used to over bloated eBay shipping prices. LOL

Well, I'm basing that off what the other guy sold his for and he charged for shipping -- listed in the auction link on my thread in the main gaming area. And my parents said that sounded about right in price.

That thing is really cool! 50 dollars seems a little harsh though, maybe $25.

Actually, I thought 50 dolalrs was quite accurate, there aren't that many around.....

How about $50 shipped?

Shipped? Criminy, the shipping on that beast is gonna be $15, so you're asking him to sell it for only a $35 profit. O_O Hell, I say he should just let it go all the way. I guarantee that it'll end up around $80-$100.

Sorry, next time I'll remember to PM instead of replying in the thread.

This is what the trunk would be worth to me.

Oh, I understand what you're saying, Cue -- that's why I asked for advice first on what I should list the thing for, as I'm not really sure about value. :) And the other guy was able to sell his mint one for $100.

Sniderman, I WISH I could get that much for it. Just in case, though, that's why I set a BIN. :D

$15 should cover shipping if its UPS Ground..it doesn't weigh very much at all empty...BTW the measurements on the trunk are 16"x16"x16"

Thanks, I'll add that into the auction.

Well, two more days to go and I STILL only got that one bid I'm REALLY worried about....newbie people have come through before, but I'd sure like to sell this trunk cause I need the money right now. :)

I've posted this auction on several other sites, and the auction is getting looks, but can't get anyone else to bid.....I just hope they are all waiting for the last second or something.

EDIT: Woo! I just realized this was my 1600th post! :D

Well, shoot!

I finally got someone else to bid on the chest -- this time a experienced EBay user and it got up to $61. However, that was it.

I'm happy it sold, but I wish it had gone for more.

Now to see how he pays so I can get the money and his addy down to my folks so they can mail it out by UPS.
