It's not widely in use yet, but here is the info on what is new with the feedback system.

Couldn't you do this before anyway? Or am I missing something?

Follow the link I posted and look at the picture.

You'll be able to look at JUST the feedback for Buying OR Selling.

And still no automatic jump to the negative and nuetral feedback.

Those speak WAY more than positives do sometimes and I'd rather see those than sift through pages of positives.

Ditto. I wonder if they didn't put it in there on purpose.

And did you notice their BS reason for not doing this :

Why doesn't the Member Profile give people the ability to sort by positive, negatives and neutrals?
eBay believes that it is important for a member who is evaluating the reputation of a potential trading partner to look at the person's reputation as a whole, not just a single component of their reputation. We also understand, however, the need to easily identify different ratings (positive, neutral, negative) as part of the purchase decision-making process.

We have balanced these two needs by creating easy-to-identify icons for different types of feedback ratings, enabling members to scan for important information, while maintaining the importance of examining someone's reputation in the context of overall experience.

I fail to see how they combined anything. They made positive into the green plus and negative into the red minus. They just took away the works and make 'purty piktures.'

It still doesn't show me what I want to know. :hmm:

I read ya. It's particularly tough to sift through the feedback of a high-volume seller or buyer. Even if a person has received tons of positive feedback over a short span of time, compared to a few negatives, you still want to see the negative to see what kind it is (does it seem to come from whiny customers? Or is that member being a complete rude ass who insults you the minute you don't say 100% positive stuff)...

So when are they going to be making this change?

I thought they had made it when I first posted, but I checked it today and mine was back to the old style. I guess they were having a test run or something.

The only good thing about this change is that you can ignore the buyer feedback. People only check feedback profiles when deciding on a potential purchase. How many sellers routinely check the feedback of the bidders on their auction and then weed out the bad ones? Atleast now I can ignore buyer feedback.

What I really want is:
A) ability to sort by type (especially negatives) like Achika mentioned, and
B) make sellers have exactly one month to leave feedback on their buyers . Give buyers ability to leave feedback on their sellers for 3 months. This format would solve MANY problems if you think about it. A buyer has fulfilled his obligation the second payment is sent, so a month is more than enough time for the seller to leave feedback on that. A buyer needs more time to receive his product. If he waits till a month is up, even if his seller didn't leave feedback, he can still leave feedback stating his ACTUAL experience without fear of a 'retaliatory' feedback.

This new eBay change solves almost nothing. As my Grampa used to say: mutton dressed as lamb is still mutton.

I am not liking the new feedback forum. Can you believe I just got two Neutral feedbacks from a buyer who already left me a positive for the same item?!?!?! x_x
I already reported this problem to ebay. There must be a glitch when leaving feedback for fixed price listings of more than one quantity.
