Weekday finds 13/1-17/1

I think I'm first out of the blocks this week:

I picked up NBA Jam TE (Gamegear) boxed and minty-fresh for £2 from a charity shop on my lunch-hour. I would've got Talespin aswell, but I didn't have any more change on me. I'll get it tomorrow if it's still there.
Also had The Addams Family (Master System) land on my doorstep this morning.

Well, this isn't really a find as much as it is a pondering: I found a boxed SNES (original) at a thrift for $25 with a gun and Mario Paint (w/ mouse & pad), I just don't know if it's worth the investment. I peeked in the box and the SNES appears to be of the yellowed variety...any thoughts as to whether it's worth it to pick this up? The box was pretty good shape with styro inserts (unsure of manuals).

Personally, i dont buy SNES's when they are yellowed. If you dont really care about that, then try to bargain her down to $20, and then that would be a nice buy. If you dont have one, and want the box with it, then go for it.

Also, i found a Hang-on/Safari Hunt in a box i got with SMS stuff for free.

Cool to some, cool to me, maybe lame to others...

Picked up some minty complete Genesis titles, cheap, at my local Gamestop.

Amongst them was a Complete Genghis Khan II: Clan of the Grey Wolf, with manual and map for $2.99 (less 10% discount).

Today, the most random pickup occurred. Happened to stop by at a "Savers" thrift store, looking for games (of which they had none.) On top of a pile of new soft cover books, waiting to be shelved, was a very nice unmarked copy of the Suikoden II Prima strategy guide.

Brought it to the counter...$.75 after tax.

Now I can play my game!

Yeah, and I just realised that 13th-17th is Tues-Sat, rather than Mon-Fri. D'oh! Ah well, seems a little late to change it now. :)
