Sega Master System compatibility question

Well, I've just purchased a Power Base Converter for my Genesis model 1, and I'm interested in importing a few games, but I don't know if they're compatible or not. So here's my question:

Are European and Australian SMS games playable on an American Power Base Converter? If so, anyone got a boxed or complete Sonic the Hedgehog or Lion King for SMS that they're willing to part with?

I have 5 European games and 1 Australian game, and they all work fine in my U.S. PBC. You shouldn't have any problems.
