I'd like to know if there's a place that lists all the new games added and changed with each new release of MAME. I'm current all the way through version .70, and would just like to know what has been added or changed since then. Mame.dk used to have these lists, but it's been down for months (anyone know if it'll ever return?). Is there another site that has these kinds of lists? I'm not really interested in getting a complete update since my last one--I can live without Mahjong and fighting games--but I am all about getting the older and obscure ones.

Unfortunately, the best link I can provide is MAME's whatsnew.txt (http://www.mame.net/whatsnew.html) file. It lists all the changes between versions, but it's not fun digging through it to find specific information.
As for mame.dk, I'm afraid it's pretty much dead and buried. It won't be back.

Ze_ro, thanks for the info, it is most helpful. This is the kind of thing I'm looking for.

This is extremely depressing to me--I loved that website. I was hoping it was just hibernating for a while. Can you tell me where you heard that it won't be back? Is there any way to get in touch with the mame.dk people? Do you know why it went under? Thanks again for your help.

I believe mame.dk went under due to lack of funds. Their bandwidth usage must have been off the wall.

That's what I thought I had read earlier; I was wondering if there were something else. I can certainly imagine how expensive it was. I was thinking if it were just a matter of funds, they'd just be under for a little while until they saved up the money. I hate to think they'd never be back. I did contribute financially once, but I feel bad for not giving more when I had the chance. If they came back, I would totally contribute more often.

I just want to thank ze_ro again (and K8Track for asking the question). I've got Mame .77 roms and Mame32 .78 right now - it's nice to know what I'll have to muck with :)
That sucks about mame.dk.
