Mario Golf: toadstool tour secret tournaments?

Online I fould codes to enter to access special tounaments like: Holywood Video tournament, and Bowsers Big Bash Tournament. I played all the way through one of them to see what would heppen, but nothing. The tournaments are on the already avaliable courses, I did not notice anything diffrent about this. What is the deal? Anybody know?

Wouldn't a more interesting way of doing it would to just make the game playable online? C'mon Nintendo. Why even release a network adapter for the Cube if you aren't going to support it?
