Okay... The Bandai Playdia. I'm looking for your personal feedback on this system and any of it's games. I've done google... I've done yahoo... Screw lycos... Screw lycos right in the ear! No one uses lycos!
I have found no useful information, much less any screenshots.

:D I bought that one on a discount because the owner said they couldn't get it working and I've had no success so far.
From what I've heard, it's kinda like a digital comic for kids telling them to press "up" or "green button". Something like more cartoons than play time.

Thanks! That's kinda what I got from the sound of it too... So it's Night Trap, except animated... and without the boobies...
Still... anyone else have something to add?

from what i've seen and heard it's a "console" made for very young kids
the only game i've seen on ebay was an Hello Kitty game, maybe a nice item for the kitty collectors ;)
Despite Gaijin Punch's warning, he has a bunch of game reviews on his site. Just go to the 32-bit "pl" section.

Second that. I don't have a Playdia, so I don't know where this "it's an interactive comic for kiddies" is coming from...that's not the case for the whole system.
If the MSX computer was Microsoft's "first game console," then the Playdia was Apple Computer's first game console (notice no quotes!) They developed it and there's a lot of neat parts for the system, as well as a couple less common variants of the system floating around.
There's an SD Gundam game on there, too. Oh fun...
