Sorry to tell ya bro, but you're mistaken. I went over my friends house tonight (to try out Metal Slug 5....game is short, but kicks ass), and tried it out just to be sure. He's got a 2.0 card, and DracX (and original version, not a copy), ran fine. Which means you're info is off. Sorry, but either I played what I play, or I was magically halucinating (and I don't do any drug, so I doubt it's the later).
So, do you have the 2 card, and/or an hu-adaptor or not? All I'm lookin for is a yes or no, otherwise I'll just look elseware.

This has got to be the most fucked up PM ive ever gotten so far.
i mean , i even try to let this dude know as nicely as possible
that he would need the 3.0 or better to play dracula X
Feel free to chime in if you agree...

2 card and a hu-adaptor should NOT work with Drac X, cause Super CDs require the System 3 Bios. I do know that Drac X runs with a 2 card, but it just has a mini-level in 3D, not the full PCE Drax X game. He couldn't have played the full normal game with a 2.0 card on a TG16 that I know of.
Slug V is good tho? That's good to hear!

For all those that don't understand !!!!!
He got an e-mail from a Gamer claiming he played Dracula X with a system 2 card.
He replied that you have to have a System 3 card.
The guy replies back " no way because I played it with a system 2 card, so just sell me a system 2 card you moron."
Now he's asking anyone here if he's right or is the other guy right ?
Can you play Dracula X with the 2.0 card or only the 3.0 card ?
Does everyone understand now ??????? x_x

Yeah I noticed when I went back up what he had done. The text under the "------------------------" isn't his signature (which I thought it was so ignored it and tried to just figure out the top part which I believed to be his post) but the PM he got.
I understand now.

BINGO....
i shoulda made that more clear.
NO you cant play Dracula X with a system 2.0 card on a TG16 stack set.
thats a fact.
you will get a couple of the actors talking in japanese telling you
"You american idiot, you need the system 3.0 card to play this game ,,fuctard" thats about all you will get.
Next thing you know, this kid will be trying to tell me he played Metal Slug 6
on a sega gamegear.

Perhaps this confusion arises from the fact that the 1st system card is "v2.0". What ever happened to System Card v1?

The System 1 card was only released in Japan and only 1 or 2 titles are compatible with it. In the US, our "TG16 CD system card" is actually the System 2 card. In Japan, they got a System 1 card, a System 2 card, and a Super System 3 card. You NEED the System 3 card (US or Jp) to run Super CDs. Period.

Maria and Richter laying the smack down, that's pretty funny.
Track 1 is CD audio, with a message that you'd better not try to play the CD on your stereo 'cuz you could damage it. I'd forgotten that it was track 1, but it is. PC-Engine does it right! This track is Maria sneaking up on Richter, the ambience is a woodland setting...with motorbikes faintly audible in the background, lol.
The "can't play it on system card 2" warning is at the so-called "South Park" minigame, which actually looks rather good but is very, very silly :) No acting present in this section...just round Richter running down an angular forest path, knocking down some round zombies, and then a goofy, round Maria jumping about at the end.
Next thing you know, this kid will be trying to tell me he played Metal Slug 6
on a sega gamegear.
That I would like to see, lol.

Sir i have all the cards,, 1.0 is right here..
You need the version 1.0 to play altered beast because that
game will not work with any other system card...
but like i said, i have version 1.0 so they did make it.
