and are there any original employees left? Or semi-original? Or at least post VCS workers?

I don't know that, but Activision surived the Crash -- one of the few gaming companies active back then that are still around today -- by moving into PC games. They bought other failed companies like Imagic and used their people and ideas to help surive the lean times, and they pushed their games into other countries besides just the United States. The name was also changed for several years, but I can't recall to what or what years. When console games came back in the late 80's, Activision returned to making console games as well as PC games (they were one of the last supporters of the Atari 2600, but I don't think they directly made any NES games till 1990.)

Recently, Acitvision surprised many by termaining and then suing Paramont over their Star Trek contract. The company had made several very good ST games based off the licence but got upset at Paramont over several issues and broke it. Last I heard it was still in court.

I don't have sales figures in front of me (Zach probaly would) but last time I checked Activision was in the top 10 for profitable and biggest gaming companies. Still alive and kicking after all these years!

Is anyone in the company left from 25-20 years ago? I doubt that VERY much.

They changed their name to Mediagenic in the early 90s, if I'm not mistaken; and it seems like I remember reading that they barely survived that period.
