Picked this up at BlockBusters for $6.99. It was worth it. I liked it. Beat it a few days ago. Seems there is a bug in the game that makes it impossible to advance in one level. Was running around the same LVL for about 2 days...Wound up doing some searching on-line and found out what the deal was. If anyone is interested I'll dig it up and post it to this thread later when I get home. There's really not too much info on this game online... I can't understand why. Is it a crap game and I just don't see it or just overlooked??

I saw that game get priced lower and lower. I think it wasn't a very good game. Plus, I didnt see it advertised everywhere. It looks fun though. I wanted to pick it up, but I wasn't sure what type of play it had. Like gauntlet legends?

Like Gauntlet Legends? No not quite. You can't really compare the two.

It's kinda more like Rune: Viking Warlord... But without the long ass loadtimes, it's more polished, cool ass cut scene FMV, more weapons and spells, just an all around better game than VW. But same set up

If you can pick it up for under $20 its worth it IMO.

Have you played the PS2 version of Baldur's Gate? Is it anything like that? I've never played R: VW.

I did a quick look on Game Rankings and it scored around a 5/10. Doesn't mean it's a bad game though. Gauntlet Dark Legends scored pretty poorly as well but it's a darn fun game. But it might explain why it doesn't have much happening on the web.

This game is one of the "...Might & Magic" series from 3DO, no?

(eyes open wide, mouth agape in horror): GET IT AWAY! GET IT AWAY FROM ME!!! YAAAAGGGHH!

Yet another product from 3DO's "cauldron o' crap" (see Portal Runner, Army Men: Air Attack 2, Green Rogue, etc. etc.)

Although I'd probably blow 7 bucks just to see how bad IT blows...

actually, that's a PERFECT 7-dollar game. the m+magic games have always been a guilty pleasure, and this one isn't as bad as people who haven't played it often say. the game is a decent action game, with some RPG elements tossed in- the semi-sequel, shifters, is a bit of a step backwards. they fixed some issues, but the level design and some of the architecture is pretty awful...
