I remember this from a while back. I really hate how they've used contemporary pop culture in-jokes (but I suppose years from now people might look at this and get a laugh at what many folks think is funny now...could've used more David Hasselhoff though)

When I saw this movie for the first time (mid-last year) it really made me nostalgic for playing MK3 on the SNES. I've always liked the menu music :)

There's also something I should ask about...what's with the Friendships? I'm pretty sure that must've been in the original, but I'm not sure. Any comments on that?

yeah, the friendships were just one of the many stupid 'alities' that were in the original. Fatalities, Babalities, Animalities, Friendships, and pit deaths.
