My guilds raid video on Everquest!

This is the raid on Kratas, a flying squid on Everquest Online Adventures for the Plastation 2. To defeat Kratas, you would have to have anywhere from 20-22 people at level 50, but we did it with 14 people at level 53-55.

This is Kratas, a flying squid, and the things you see flying are arrows, as it it only safe for melee classes to stay back and shoot arrows, or the squids AoE (Area of effect damage) would damage them.

Our guildmaster Justinfate just got done editing the video, you can see me in the video, I am the Dark Elf Magician at the very end of the video, my name is "Xazlere".

This was my last raid with the Dark Knights, as my time in Everquest is over. I am now awaiting Everquest 2 for the PC full time.

Awesome video! I loved EQOA and can't wait to play it again. I am a huge DAoC fan so I usually play that for 6 months, then EQLive for 6 months and then EQOA for a while. Long live EQ! I can't wait for EQ2!

I loved that video. I'm not into EQ as I play SWG and Anarchy Online. So what kind of loot did it drop? I am watching EQ2 and I think it will be the #1 MMORPG for a long long time when it is released. I just hope SOE dosen't screw it up as bad as they did with SWG. 8-)

On DAoC I am on Gaheris, Morgan Le Fay and Guinevere servers.

For EQ I am on Rodcet Nife.

For EQOA I am on Hodstock but it's been quite a while since I played.

Don't worry, SOE won't mess up their baby. I hear SWG was so bad because of the Lucasarts people interfering so much.

nice video! I love MMORPG's.. if I were you I would get ready for EQ2 as I plan on loosing another 3 years in a game and I could use a good videographer for my guild :D

Thanks for all the compliments guys, and Radeon, I wasn't the taper of the video, sadly :( , the recorder was Tristinfate, Justinfates' wife.

I am exstatic about Everquest 2, I plan on going on whatever server is the first on the list..you should do the same Radeon, we could play together.

Normally with school and everything, I played EQoA for anywhere from 8-12 hours a day, every day, from when I get home from school, to when I hit the sack, and it will be the same with Everquest 2.

I plan on making a Erudite (or gnome) enchanter (illusionist) for my main, and a Human Cleric for my alt.

Oh Stark, the loot dropped was the following:

Gold Pendant, a jewelry tradeskill item that gives 50+ to all Healing stats when put into jewelrey (!)

Ink-Blasted Tunic (Bard, Ranger, Rogue only) Good stats,level 51, I didn't get the item, so I don't know them off the top of my head.

Staff of Malice (Druid, Shaman, Cleric Staff only) Good Healer staff, level 52.

No caster drops, but oh well.


Anyways, that was my last raid on EQoA, I went out on bad terms, but I love the game, and wish my guild, Dark Knights of Teir' Dal the best on their adventures, and I hope to see some of you in Eq2 :)
