Hey, I'm working on a compelte dreamcast collection right now. How much would/will it be worth when complteted? I'm counting all 248 realeases plus the 2 generator demo disks, and bleem disks. And, is there anything that is really going to be supper hard to find? Are there alot of compete dc collections out there?

I think there are a few of us at "complete". I'm working on the import stuff now, completed the US section quite some time ago.
What's it worth? Check out our list at http://www.digitpress.com/lists.htm
Your answer is waiting for you :)
Good luck with the collection! What an excellent library to complete.

I don't know how much it is worth, but I have all of the US releases except one right now (and I'm just looking to pick up a mint, cheap copy in the wild... I don't want the search to be over!)
I would say that the complete US collection of software alone is worth about $2000.00, but I really don't know. I'm not planning on selling mine, that's for sure!
I would definitely suggest picking up Feet of Fury, as it is the first homebrew title released for the 'Cast... although there could be as many as a dozen more before the year is over :D Check my sig's GOAT Store link for more detials on it. The other details will be coming relatively soon.

i'm talking of pal now as i'm a pal collector, US should be a bit easier/cheaper, as the very very rare/expensive releases of europe are missing, Samba (incl. Maracas), Freestyle Scooter, Evolution 2, Rez, Shenmue 2, Pro Pinball, Taxi 2 and so on
you can get a complete pal dc collection for about 2500 euro off of ebay in a month (2500 is incl. shipping) without too much problems, but if you want to spend as few money as possible you'll be working on it for some month and be able to get it for 1250-1600 if you are lucky, but that would be extremely cheap imho

Yea, the main reason why I am asking is because I'm not really all that much of a hardcore gamer, but the Dreamcast has always been my favorite console. I can't really afford to shell out $1500 on games right now, so I am a little slow at collecting (got to find the good deals, resale then buy DC games with the profit!) Just got one more question, is a compelte set it worth more sold togeather or if it split apart? In otherwords, If I bought all the games at the price listed in the DP guide, would they "instantly" be worth more since I have em all?

you'll always be getting more money by selling all games one by one instead of all together if that's what you were asking

Yea I pretty much knew that its just I wasn't sure if maybe it would be differant since it was "complete"
