Prototypes/Odd Pirate Carts you want dumped? Read me! :)

I'm looking for anyone who has a prototype cartridge for the MegaDrive/Genesis, 32x, MegaCD/Sega CD, Game Boy Advance, or Game Gear/Sega Master System. I don't want to buy one, rather, I'd like to get them dumped to ROM format if at all possible. I have all the equipment necessary to copy the ROMs from MD/Gen/32x, Mega/Sega CD, and GBA cartridges, and can build the equipment for the Game Gear copier if I need to. I would copy the ROM data from the cartridge, mail it back to you (good padded envelope or similar protected packing), along with a CD with the ROM file (or e-mail it to you..) I would also be willing to pay for shipping.

ESPECIALLY looking for Sonic/Ecco series games (please see other topic.) :)

This would be a GREAT opportunity for you to preserve your prototypes (EPROMs only last so long, unfortunately), me to add content to my site, and for the community to gain new info about what went into these games. I doubt anyone would be interested, but ya never know ..

As Im sure you already know, AGB development cartridges ('prototypes') uses Flash Rom's and not EPROM's.

Sorry, no.. that would be too time consuming. I already have some projects I am working on, and a NES copier would probably be needlessly complex. Especially if I try to build a CopyNES-- they have a bunch of ICs I do not even know where to find. ;P

Seriously, RedEye? Wow...That's great....I actually do have a couple...can only think of one right now...A Double Dragon 2 proto I just got from NESman85...oh yeah, and a Total Recall Proto...maybe a couple others.

I thought he might make more if the $ and demand were there...he could have at least replied and said "no."

But yeah, that would be great. Also, if you ever want to sell you Copynes......:-D
