The place or style of place that has netted you the best deals overall in gaming goodness!
For example, Flea Markets, Pawn Shops, Thrift Stores, Gamestores, etc. or some place else totally off the wall.
Mine is someplace else....Old video rental stores, I've only had the opportunity to buy out about 4 of them, but leaving with 100 or so boxed games covering NES, SNES, Genesis, etc. at an average of 1.00 each, each time I hit one...they have netted me my best overall finds.
How about everyone else...Where do you get your best overall finds at?

I havent found anything good in the wild yet and i did not have the opportunity to buy games from a closing video store, so for now the best deals i get are if i find something cheap on ebay that someone else didnt notice or for newer games...www.cheapassgamer.com...new games at really low prices.

Best for me has been not closing video stores, but stores that have been getting rid of their old nes/snes/genny games.
Very nice deals there.

In fact I suggest you talk to the manager of any mom and pop you see still renting these... I've talked a few people into selling their inventory.

No no, Ive been misunderstood...not CLOSING video rental stores. Just ones that either have there stock for rent, for sale or stored in the back or other place. They usually want to clear them out and are willing to do it pretty cheap.

My best deals have always been in trades or purchases from other gamers, such as the deals I've gotten from the buying and selling forums right here.

In my area, garage sales hand down for me. Everybody is now on the lookout for gaming stuff at thrifts and pawns, everywhere really. The good thing about garage sales is you have as good a chance as anybody of getting it. You just have to get there first. Most of the other places get intercepted before they even make it to the public.
