The latest deal at the Best Buy round here is:

Buy an Xbox for $199.99, and 24 month's of MSN at $21.99 a month, and get a $200.00 mail in rebate. Early termination fee's apply of course.

I think it's a ripoff personally......

Well, it is a ripoff unless you are looking for a new ISP, and $22 a month is less than what you are paying already, and MSN has a local number for you...in that case it's not too bad, 2 years of internet service AND a free XBOX.

This week, EB here in Boston is selling XBox for 149. The $30 rebate still applies, so you can get the system and the DVD kid for 149 new, which is a steal.

You should all consider yourself very lucky. Here the xbox is $260 and all you get with it is a dvd play set and a jurassic park 3 dvd.
It really pisses me off that Americans and Japanese get all the good deals, while we, the good people from Europe, have to pay the full price to make up for your losses. (or at least almost)

Yeah, but most of that price is in the VAT, right? We get to pay our taxes before we even see the money!
