I was just thinking about that post from a few days again when someone asked who had complete NES collections. Well, has anyone gone farther than that and worked on every game for every Nintendo system. I doubt anyone has all of them considering how many GameBoy games there are, but if anyone is close to having them all, how far away are you?

I doubt anyone has them all yet... Gameboy, GB Color, etc is gonna be a task and a half. especially if you go after complete games. most GB boxes were tossed. SNES is no walk in the park either...there are a few games that are just near impossible to find. besides the N64, the nes might actually be the easiest nintendo collection to complete.

Not to mention there is GC games release every other day.

Gameboy makes this goal mostly extremely long term for anyone. You're looking at 3000+ games, not including GC or GBA. NES-SNES-N64 is more realistic, ven thought SNES and N64 will run you more than you'd like right now.

Just imagine if someone had every GB, GBC, and GBA game in boxes...that would be amazing.

I'm guessing quite a few people have a complete Virtual Boy collection though.

Does this include Game and Watches? How about the countless keychain games they've made (or those crappy little wrist watches they made)? Or how about Famicom or FDS games? Shit, I doubt ANYONE has all the Famicom games. Or how about this:

Man, this guy's site rocks! It's in Japanese, but try Babelfish!

I guess that would include Game and Watches and all those little things and any old US systems. No Japanese stuff though.

Bah, I liked my post but it didn't address the topic too closely :(

Are you requiring that we get systems for all those games, and how do you count pack-in games? They look the same as the regular retail thing, but their box is a bit bigger ;)

I am 2 away on the NES, 1 away on the SNES. I have most of the manuals and boxes for the N64, but haven't started collecting the games much. I couldn't even think of collecting Game boy games, that would be quite expensive, let alone how large the collection of games that is.

But it should be noted that you're the closest person I KNOW OF towards tholly's proposed goal. DreamTR is close behind, but is not one cart away ;)

I feel that whoever tries even B&W GB is a sadist. Just... too.... pricey. A lot of 10 games going at $8/game LOOSE?! I'll pass.

So, since we all know that GB is basically the hardest thing to collect, how many games does everyone have for it. Who here is the person that can say they have the biggest GB game collection. I figure no one will say they have them all, so who is the closest.

Remarkably, the quality of some titles doesn't even matter in this scenario either. There are some REALLY bad Gameboy games out there. The ultimate dumping ground for rehashed NES games or concepts that couldn't fly anywhere else.
