So, are any of you all taking advantage of this three day weekend and getting some extra shopping (or gaming) time in?

One thing I had on my list for this weekend was changing all my arcade games to "free play" mode. Believe it or not, I found the dip switch settings for all seven of them on the web, and was able to do it all in an hour or so. The biggest pain was going through them all and figuring out which I had keys for and which were missing.

I browsed eBay a bit yesterday (last night...well, since it's 2:08 AM now) and that was fun. I'm going to spend some time working on my page and forcing myself not to get swept away by some (highly desireable) eBay auction or other, because I've got my eye set on one thing in particular. Heh. That, and do some reading.

Hmm... I wonder if there's a video game that represents the ideals of the late Dr. King...

Uh...i don't get any three day weekend. Martin Luther King's birthday or not, restaurants are still open, as are most businesses, I would think.

I was playing that on my Game Boy Advance SP last night as a matter of fact. I'm working today too. :(

I can't get a three-day weekend... so I'll have to settle for FOUR days instead!

Seriously, Tuesday's an inservice day! But gaming plans... probably as much F-Zero GX and Guilty Gear X2 as possible. Maybe some Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Tekken 4, and Capcom vs. SNK 2 mixed in with that...

No 3 day weekend here either so I started out by picking up Medal of Honor: Rising Sun, the Prince of Persia-Splinter Cell combo and a $10 Timesplitters 2 all for the Gamecube (oh yeah and a new wavebird controller).

When I got home, I had dinner and played with my daughter until she conked out at about 8:45. Then the 12 hour marathon was on! I figured since I had to work today I'd get some quality gaming in. Problem was I got so wrapped up with MOH and Big Mutha' Truckers (purchased several weeks ago) that I never made it around to my new games, plus I still have a few others I need to play.

I have an assortment of SNES games coming from a DP member coming in the next few days, so I'm counting on a few snowdays from work soon. 8-) LOL

We in the video game industry don't have the day off either. So instead of having fun playing games, I'm toiling away MAKING games (not as fun as it sounds)

I just picked up Super Mario Sunshine and Metroid Prime for GC. I will be playing that all night. My friends all have undergrad classes. Ha. I graduated.

No class for me, but I do have to work. Went to a massive party Saturday night, so I played as much Suikoden III as I could between partying and actually doing homework.

I've been at the game for about a week now I think... and I'm over 40 hours into it. Fastest completion of an RPG for me in years. I wanted to finish it this weekend but I've got some coding and a damn ER diagram to fart out after work tonight. By the latest, next weekend.

I went to some Video Game stores. The Burgertime finally got moved out of the garage into the basement.
The best part- Putting up the sheetrock tonight for the new video game room. :-P :D :D

I didn't have many big plans.

All I did was relax, sleep, eat good food, and catch up on Final Fantasy Anthologies (VI).
