I know this isn't a classic game, given that it's been out for 10 days or so, but if any of you are playing it you may find this useful (especially if you have fps rate issues).

It's just various bits of advice I and other players have picked up from other forums. I hope it helps :)

This is where a large part of it came from.

no frame rate issues with gf4ti4200 :D my bottleneck is my 1.5ghz AMD cpu.. my frame rates are:

640x480 2xaa 52fps
800x600 2xaa 52fps
1024x768 2xaa 52fps
1600x1200 2xaa 52fps

CPU bottleneck? you betcha!

I thought it may be useful, especially for people with bottlenecks. There is a tweaking tool in the first link which removes/alleviates some of these issues. Beta drivers, weapondetail low, characterdetail low, everything else super-high, turn mouse lag to off, change render frames ahead to "no more than zero", try OpenGL, change the size of HUD (70% works well), turn hit-damage screen flash to "no", optimise FoV and ... well, try the program. It seems to work.

edit : I run at x2 aliasing and average 60fps (using stat fps in console) and about 58 using the frap tool ( www.fraps.com ). And that's on a mighty (ha! ) GeForce 4 MMX 440 with an AMD 2100+. The important thing is to try different settings and see what works. SaitoH has some crazy settings running on his computer but they work for him. Just experiment a little :)
