samurai spirits for the saturn import question

I was looking through some old egm's and I noticed Samurai spirits best collection in one of the import ads. COuld some one give me some information on these import games from Japan? I've always wanted a home version of the game but I didn't want a 3do or a NEO Geo cause I couldn't afford it. I looked on ebay but I couldn't get a clear picture of what the game lookedl ike. If it was a RPG or the actual fighter. Thanks!

It's Samurai Shodown 3 and 4.

Not nearly as good as the MVS/AES

Would you say though, that the Saturn versions would be the versions to get if you don't go the NEO route. Or is it like playing 2600 Pac-man? :)

I dunno, missing animations, missing sounds, loading times...

Honestly, I would just play the romz until you can go the neo route. SS3 and 4 are around 30-40 each on MVS.

But if you're never going to get a neo, I guess the saturn versions would be good enough.
