Anyone know anything about the atari 2600 darth vader model? I've been looking for a good priced 2600 for sometime and I found a DV on ebay for 15.00 at buy it now, but it has no cables or paddles. The auction says that the system is near mint and works fine. Are the cables for this set hard to come by/exspensive, is the system alone worth 15.00?

I have seen Atari 2600's for $2.99 at the local thrift store, and I've seen them go for almost $100. There's a wide range of prices, depending on condition and what's included. The Game Exchange near my house sells them for $79.99.

It will come with the video cord connected, but if you need everything else, you're talking about a power supply (another $15), joystick(s), paddles, and games. I would ask over in the buying/selling forum first and see if anyone has a more complete one at a reasonable price they might be getting rid of. If it's from someone here, at least you'll know it works and has been tested.
