Maybe he has several of them and just took a picture of his own one he has hung up. He should have stated that but you would have to assume if he says it has never been opened it isn't the one hanging up.

That's what I'd assume. I'd email and ask if that's what he meant. I wish I had a neon sign for the Cube or something.

The neon signs are usually pretty heavy depending on the materials that go into the frame housing of them. The three that are in my house (2 beer, 1 psx) have really heavy metal rods (I think they may be cast iron) on them. I'm guessing that if they fall, the rods are supposed to protect the neons from cracking? $36.00 may be a bit on the high side, but at the same time you have to hope that whatever is left over after shipping is going towards packing materials to give this an extra safe journey.

I sold the same sign about 2 years ago. If I remember right, it cost about $30 priority, give or take a few bucks. They are heavy and the large box and packing meaterial required don't help.
