Well I'd been having problems with my 7800. I couldnt get it to run anything. So after along time of dicking with it, I decided continue fiddling with it on my little LCD so I could watch some TV at the same time. So I ran the 7800 through my VCR to the LCD, and guess what, everything just worked. Doesnt work through my TVunless I run it through my VCR first.

whats up with that???

[and it was worth the frustration after I got to play tapper for the first time in years, thanks zach]

Sounds like maybe the signal from the 7800 is either too strong or too weak for that LCD screen, and the VCR is regulating the strength by either boosting/limiting it. Just a guess.

Are you using an RF swich or just a direct connection? DId you have a mod done for S video or anything?

whoops, poorly worded, I cant use my 7800's RF adaptor through the television, I need to run it through the VCR first and then out to the TV. All my other RF game systems work just fine straight through the TV, just not the 7800.
