According to this month's famitsu, Xbox and its Live feature will recieve Guilty Gear XX #Reload and SNK vs Capcom: Chaos this year, in Japan. GGXX#R comes out in April, with no date set on SvC.
No word yet on US releases, but considering the fact that there's only a few thousand Xboxs in japan, and a large number more here, it seems like a lock, to me.

Is SVC Chaos meant as a port from the NeoGeo?
It seems like just yesterday we were seeing SNES/Genesis ports of NeoGeo games... I always find it amazing that the system is still around.

This is great news.. two nice, quality fighters for the Xbox. Not that it will sell any more Xboxes in Japan. But, I can't see them not coming here.
Reportedly, GG will also have Xbox Live support too..

Yep, SvC is the neo geo one. It's also supposed to have live support. Although honestly even with all the tweaks they made on the home console release, the game still is kinda weak. #Reload is cool though, the japanese have had it on PS2 and arcade formats for a while, and its essentially replaced the original XX everywhere. Having it available here will definitely be nice, since playing a different game from the japanese makes things difficult when nationals come around and team japan shows.

SCORE! I was wondering when we were going to see SvC Chaos on a home console other than the Neo Geo! And Guilty Gear on the XBOX... nice. If it has enough differences from the PS2 version of GGX2, then I'll look into it. I'd look forward to kicking everyone's arse with Sol and Slayer... :vamp:

Well, not the best 2 games, but they best still be on live and in the US. The more online fighters, the better.
Now if they release SS5 for live here, I will have to change my shorts.

There's alot of changes from #Reload and the original XX, although most aren't readily noticable. The most obvious is that Robo-Ky is completely different. His super bar has a heating gauge on it, and doing moves will cause him to warm up. You have to periodically cool him off or he will freeze up for a few moments.
Other changes include some moves getting slowed down, others getting sped up, and just a general shuffling of the tiers. Some characters were weakened (Slayer, I-No) and others improved (Potemkin).
SvC is scheduled for a PS2 release later this year, November if I recall.
