Navi's Tracker is the current form of the previously announced game Legend of Zelda: Tetra's Trackers. Instead of Nintendo releasing what was basically a mini-game, they combined Tetra's Trackers and the Four Swords into one game.

Some News on Zelda Four Swords:
You don't need 3 gba to play 4 swords in multiplayer anymore.
Nintendo announced that it is also playable with 4 gamecube controllers
makes me even happier :D
