If I remember right Metroid isn't as popular in Japan as it is in the USA and Europe. Rockman Zero 2 sold more! Though, not by much, a number of several other Rockman titles did better. Thanks Zach!

155,528. It was released in February 2003 in Japan. We got both Metroids about 3 months before the Japanese.

Oh, I'm sorry. That's right. They got the extra difficulty mode(s? Child mode?) and a whole ton of new endings.

I wonder how many of those were printed in Japan. Regardless, I'll have to see about liberating a copy sometime.
