Ok, i hit my usual flea market today, and what do i find....but a brand new never opened NES control deck in the box, with 16 loose games. I opened up the control deck box and the deck, controllers, plug, paperwork, etc are all still sealed in there baggies, and the box look like it just came straight from a case. Anywho, my question is, what the heck should i do?!?!?! Keep this treasure or sell. What would it go for roughly on ebay? Ive been selling games forever on ebay, but not once a brand new system. Any thoughts id greatly appreciate!!! By the way, i paid $30 for the system and the 16 loose games.

just keep it and enjoy it. you don't have to make a fortune on SCALPBAY just because you got a good deal!!! KEEP IT! It would be a nice addition to any collection!

Depends. Are you a NES collector? (Judging by your avitar, I'd guess yes:)) Do you have a fetish for boxes and whatnot? Do you want a museum quality collection? Then I'd say keep it.
If, however, you're like me and don't collect NES (other than games and stuff you actually play) and aren't so concerned about boxes, I'd say you have options. Right now if I had what you described, I'd probably use it as trade bait. If I needed money again, you can bet it'd be the frist thing to go though. Since that's kind of an unusual find, you might be able to get somthing really nice in trade for it.

Well Mr. Vampire Slayer, I think you should just drive 100 miles or so north and drop it off at my house in Greensboro. Yeah, that's what I'd do if I were you. :!:

hey, yeah, im a nes collector, but basically i just collect the actual games, and not really care about boxes. Ive already got 4 nes systems, two of them top loaders, so I dont need it exactly. Ebay to me isnt "Scalpbay", nobody is forced to bid what they bid. Sure, things go for high prices sometimes, but only because someone chooses too, and besides, it never hurts to make an extra buck or two! =) More than likely im gonna use this badboy as trade bait... Lemme get some pics together of it and ill slap a post on the selling forum. Thanks guys!

It's not going to go for much on ebay. I just listed a working NES complete with 26 games, and I'll be surprised to get more than $50.00
Even complete in the box, don't expect to get what it's worth, nintendo prices have been weird on ebay for at least a year.
