Okay, what Sammy is asking me to do here is GD'd NEAR IMPOSSIBLE! In Story Mode for Dizzy, to get Ending #2, you have to beat the boss I-No, and you only get one shot! A. Dizzy is hardly my best character, and 2. I-NO IS A F**KING B**CH!!! *seething* :grrr:

Any strategies against I-No as Dizzy would be greatly appreciated. I'm not the best at fighting games, so I'd thought I'd look to the experts.

I do not suggest trying some of the scenario mode if you're easily angered. You think the battle with I-No is tough, wait till you try some of those ridiculous challenges.

Sadly, I'm only good with Ky, and Chipp(to a much lesser extent). All I can recommend is to study the animations and watch for an opening.

hmmm, Dizzy is hardly my best character but since I'm currently 33-0 in GGXX....


I'd recomend cheap v. cheap. Dizzy can get a nice juggle going with her sythe-like projectile and the ice spike from the ground. Lather rinse repeat. If you get great at it, you can infinite it till death.

Oob: You mean Mission Mode, right? Yeah, I can't even get past Mission 2. But this is perhaps the worst challenge EVER in Story Mode. I mean, this bitch regenerates life AND tension moderately fast, she has that Megalomania tension move that I so very hate, and if I blow it, I have to start all over from the beginning. And this is the question I ask: Why did they have this near-impossible scenario WITH THE ONLY F**KING CHARACTER IN THE GAME THAT DOESN'T HAVE A F**KING INSTANT KILL?!?!? :bad-words: :bad-words: :bad-words:

I swear, some video game programmers do these things out of pure sadism... :fist:

Adam: Sounds good, but I tried it... what comes first, the scythe, or the spike? I try the scythe first, but when I do the motion for the spike, it doesn't register and I merely perform the Forward Hard Slash. I need a little more help, but I like your angle... I tried to be really cheap too, and I nearly won this one battle... got that whore's life down to about a third or a fourth... :o

1) Set difficulty to Beginner.

2) Projectiles to use: Ice Dagger and the Fish (especially the beam fish). They provide cover. End combos with the Ice Spike.

3) Forward+P command move had upper body invincibility. Basically, its a counter to jump in attacks. And I-no's dash technically takes her to the air.

4) If she is close to or over half meter, DO NOT JUMP. She will air super you and more or less win.

5) Megalomania (I-no super attack): First thing to realize is that she's completely, 100% invincible during it. Story mode I-no can only use it when she has full Burst meter. How do deal with the 3 versions: curve - move as far back as you can and duck. sine wave - get in the middle of it, stand, and be ready to walk forward when the move starts. wide field - get right next to her, and double jump when the warning boxes dissapear. Under no circumstance do you ever jump over her. Megalomania auto-targets then.

I-No regenerates life, and only supers hurt her.

GG really relies on knowing patterns to beating bosses easily. Although spoony bard went over pretty much all of it, the general idea is to stay grounded. A good ground game can go far in fighting games.

The reason why this was such a pain for me is that Dizzy lacks an IK, so I had to make it a "fair" duel. Heh, yeah. Fair my hairy arse... :angry:

Uber: I jumped not, she didn't even dare to perform her "exploding hat" tension. ;)

Thanks to all who helped! The worst is over. After counting, I have... forty-one endings! I'm almost there... :)
