Waste of a day for me today. I decided to drive 55 miles to Grand Forks because I went online and saw that their GameStop had a shit load of games I wanted. I rememberd gamestop was having a 30% off sale on Dreamcast so that made me want to go even more. I get there and House of the dead 2, crazy taxi, street fighter and marvel vs. capcom 2 don't even have the jewel case or the booklet. They were 30% off but I passed on all of them because I only buy cd games if they have the case and booklet. I saw sonic 2 but it was still 16.00 so passed on it. Only game I left with was Power Stone 2 for $18.00. I drove to a few pawn shops in the area but they were selling DC games for $25.00! I'm talking about very common games like Shenmue and Blue Stinger. What a waste of time but the night ended good because I squatted 700lbs! :D

I stopped off at EB the other day and was surprised to see (what everyone else here probably was well aware of): N64's for $14.99, and Dreamcasts for $14.99. Wooo!

Damn near bought a N64, as I don't have one, and I actually already own a second controller.. but, my roommate wouldn't buy a game for it to chip in, and my girlfriend kept persisting in asking if I actually intended to ever hook up or PLAY the thing....

Oh well.

Considered getting a second Dreamcast just on the principle of the thing.. but, sigh, all I left with was Chu Chu Rocket for $2.99

A descent find and very aggravating at the same time at Gamestop, Collector traded in some CIB minty genesis games, had ps2 3, 4 and MUSHA!

One of the employess gave him cash for ps2 3 4 and musha at about 8 bux each or so before I got though.. I walked in, saw them on the counter and was thinking..damn I so just scored..Employee was like not for sale.., He took the top 4 games for himself but I still walked away with

My 22 vis games came in the mail today. 21 of them are sealed, I think..I haven't wanted to take a good look at the horrid things. I think the only high point is Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective.

I went back to Gamestop this morning, returned Air Force Delta, and got Resident Evil: Code Veronica instead. Then, I bit the bullet and picked up Metropolis Street Racer for $8.90 after trading in 2 more penny Jampacks.

Now, I just have to find the other GS store before the 30% off sale ends on Saturday...

Actually, it might not. When trade-ins stop, there will still be a crapload of Genesis, SNES, NES, etc... in all the stores. Stores that won't continue to carry them will have their stock pulled and given to stores that will. Since only select Gamestops carry genesis (like mine), I would assume that my store, and your store, will be getting restock from corporate every so often for a while until the company runs out.
