qbertandernie, it may serve your question better if you listed the versions that you do know and allowed others to add versions that they have encountered. I doubt that anyone can give you an exact number.

i am only interested in us versions, i dont care about the import ones...

the game boy pocket systems i have are:

blue
black
silver
gold
yellow
green
red
clear
translucent green
and silver blue(i think this was sold as ice blue or something)

the original game boy systems i have are

black
original
green
red
clear
yellow

i think they made a blue one, but ive never seen one
