I'm still on my never ending quest to buy an NTSC Amiga 600. Hopefully, I can end the quest soon - does anyone have one for sale or trade (in good shape preferrably?).
I'm thinking I shouldn't have gotten rid of mine years ago :(

I've got a 500 sitting here. Never seen a 600 before.....but if you need a 500 and some games I can hook you up (no connector wires or monitor tho).

I've got a 1200 and a 500 already :) ... a 600 is basically a small, compact version of the 500, with all the upgrades built into to make it usable. It also is largely compatible with most games, whereas my 1200 is barely :(.

Actually, the A600 (or at least the PAL version) was a bit rubbish with compatibility aswell - IIRC, around 15% of A500 games have issues with it.
I think I've got a 'boot-disk' somewhere that lets an A500+ or A600 run all(?) earlier games that they have problems with otherwise.

Mine did had some problems, but normally running Degrader fixed them all when I had one. The A1200 I have with expanded RAM (18MB total), 030 accelerator, 6GB drive, etc, makes it almost impossible for it to play anything except for AGA titles. Regardless, I just want to hook one of these up to my TV and go. Looks like I'll keep looking :)
oh.. and btw.. this is my 500th post :)

I got a 500 off of eBay a year or so ago, but I can't seem to work my way through the GUI. I got a few disks of games but couldn't get anything to work. Maybe one of these days if I get it all hooked back up I'll get with one of you guys on IM and see if I can get it working.

I know, I've got the bid on one of em :) I just doubt I'll get it in the end.
If you do ever need help with your 500, lemme know. Don't forget, I don't live *that* far from you either.

Hi,
I have an Amiga 600 I will sell or trade,I bought it the other day and hooked it up.It seems to work fine,it comes in the original box with power supply, mouse, cable and adapter to hook it to the tv.It booted to the Workbench and I played with it there with no problems.
