Is there a list of announced but unreleased games out there?

I only know of 2.

One I forgot the name of, but would be on IGN.com. It is a plane gam where it is basically dogfighting in a city (cancelled because of 9/11).

The big one, Half Life. The game was finished, but then Sierra decided to scrap it because they felt it wouldn't make much money. There are some bootlegged full versions out there that are relitively easy to find.

I will try to find the name of the first game, but those are the big 2. There are a ton of dc games that were worked on that got scrapped though. IGN is the best place to go to look for cancelled games.

The game you're talking about is Propeller Arena, I think.

Propeller Arena is the first game that SegaAges speaks of.

DreamcastHistory.com has a few here (http://www.dreamcasthistory.com/unrepic.html), but I know I've seen a more complete list somewhere else. There's loads of announced-but-unreleased DC games, other ones that spring immediatley to mind include Black & White, Toejam & Earl, Panzer Dragoon (in fact, practically all of Sega's early PS2/XBox/GC games) and the 'Careers' Arcade 3-in-1 (comprising Jambo Safari, a fire-fighting game and something else I can't remember).

There is also PBA Bowling that was leaked about 6 months ago, I didn't see it listed on the site anywhere, or previously mentioned in this thread.

Hey Buy, you still have the Arcadia VI proto?

... and the 'Careers' Arcade 3-in-1 (comprising Jambo Safari, a fire-fighting game and something else I can't remember).

Jambo Safari, Brave FireFighters, and Emergency Call Ambulance. :)

I'd love to see a proto of this surface.

Yeah, that's the one. I think the 3-in-1 disc had some snappy title of it's own aswell. I'll look it up in an old copy of ODM if I get the chance.

Me too. It's one of the announced DC games I was most looking forward to (along with Toejam & Earl. Ah well, maybe it also wouldn't have been worth the wait).

Yeah, I know TJ&E was released on XBox, it was one of the games I bought one for.
What I meant was that maybe the Careers disk would have been as disappointing as TJ&E turned out to be.

You're right, but I can't seem to remember the title either. I thought TJ&E3 was ok. The first one is far and away still the best though.

Yeah, same here. That, and I'd really like to play Propeller Arena and Heavy Metal: FAKK 2 as well. FAKK might be kind of a long shot though, don't know how far along it made it in development. I tried to contact the lead programmer once to find out some info on it, but he never replied.

I took a look at your list. From what I vaguely remember.. that Dee Dee Planet almost got released once, and then was delayed to fix some things.. it must be close to being complete, at least in some form (am I right?). For those who don't know, it's supposedly something like Worms or Scorched Earth. Here is a page with some info:

Rumor is propellar arena is close to be released publicly. I placed a small donation to the project. I am optomistic that it will eventually be released. Hoping sooner than later.

I have one of those E3 press kit folders announcing Dogs of War. I can't remember the name of the publisher off-hand, but it would've been from the same people who made Toy Commander.

Thought it made it out on budget in Japan.

I know of a former sega guy (He's the one who sold the Half life to those who released it) who's got take the bullet and a few others.

Dee Dee Planet was not released. I've gotten more than one request for it at Lost Levels, but not a single solitary lead.

Would that be a certain fellow who used to frequent the old Edge forum, by any chance?

Does anyone have any information on Gorka Morka? I'm probably the only one, but I thought it looked like an interesting game. Any idea how far along the game was before it was cancelled?
