I am sure that this has been discussed before but...

For you controler cords do you wrap then around the controler, bundle them neatly somehow or do something completly diffrent.

Curriently I wrap them (GASP!), but this makes the cord all tangely (made-up-word) and I heave heard the this will reduce the life of the controler/cord. I am looking for a new method.

If you bundle, how do you keep the cord under control. zip ties would work but only if you didnt plan on playing with the controler any time soon.

Thanks in advance,

I usually wrap as well. As long as you don't do it to tightly and stress the point where the cord is coming from the controller, or it's pressing a stick to the side, I see no reason why this would reduce it's lifespan. If you want to do it another way, instead of zipties try rubber bands. They also make ties very similar to zip ties that can be undone.

For the controllers i don't use so often i use rubber bands, it keeps the cord together very well and u can take them off very simple. For my consoles that i use more often i wrap the cords, but that are only my SNES wich i have spare controllers for and my Dreamcast and PS2 where i don't wrap the cord so tight.
For my Gamecube i have an Wavebird :)

I use twisty ties on all my cords...they are easy to take off and put back on and it keeps everything nice and neat. Some of my controllers look like they are still wrapped from the factory (in fact 2 of my Platinum Cube controllers are still wrapped from the factory.)

Ditto on the rubber bands. Those velcro wraps used for bundling network cables and such also work well.
