Guilty Gear X Character Quiz

Sol IS my second favorite character after all, (just below Slayer) but since I think this predates the existence of GGX2, I'm quite satisfied with the result. As a matter of fact, I feel like listening to Sheer Heart Attack now... :rocker:

Why are a lot of the character and move names direct rip offs of heavy metal bands? I was looking through a booklet of Guily Gear 2 belonging to a friend and there were so many heavy metal references it wasn't even funny......I have to try that game one of these days.......

Sorry to derail your thread, but looking through it and seeing that one of the characters was named "Chip Zanuff", I just got reminded of everything and had to contribute.

Well, the creator of the series, Daisuke Ishiwatari is a giant metal fan. Its his way of doing a tribute to all the artists he loves. Plus, its really cool when you're fighting Potemkin and you realize the riff in the background is from Kashmir.

That sounds pretty cool.........My friend left Guilty Gear X2 at my house a while ago and I was just surprised at all the different heavy metal references in the game. It's still here actually, I really have to pop it in and play it before he takes it back.
