The Trade:
Lintmunkey advertised alot of gaming goods for sale in this Topic (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=40521&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0&sid=da15bfe3f235c4353ae34ceaad8a37df). I saw an Atari Jaguar and Atari 800 that I wanted. We entered negotiations and after a protracted haggling process we agreed on a deal. The deal consisted of me paying Lintmunkey $100US Paypal for the 2 items. The shipping method to be used was USPS Air Parcel (7-9 days). I paid for the items on the 15th of September 2004 and contacted him right away. Eight days later on the 25th and after numerous unanswered PM's to him I finally decided to post in his thread to see if I could get a status report on my item. Four days later on the 29th I was then informed (not in an email or PM but in the thread) that he had sent my package by GROUND shipping instead of Air Parcel as we had agreed upon. After replying again to this in the thread I got this reply.


Hey, Axekiller, I looked on the web, got a quote, when I went into the PO, it was different. I dunno why, maybe i mis-calculated the weight, ive got no idea.
After that post I had to buy another monitor for my PC as I had put my fist through it (joke). I answered that with a post of disbelief. I explained to him that we had agreed on a totally different arrangement and that he should have contacted me first before changing the trade. I also threatened him with a chargeback (Paypal), the last reply (in the thread) that I got was this.


That's fine man, i dont car, i just thought it was no big deal.
That was on the 30th of September. Nobody has heard from him since. I checked his profile and that was also his last post on DP. I feel majorly ripped here and I hope you all go to the actual thread (Linked in this post above) and look at all that was said.
