I was browsing through the memberships tonight and recognized a few folks from here. So who's registered? Also, I'm curious about members who collect mainly just boards - specifically cartridge based boards. I've been considering registering my MVS collection on VAPS, but wasn't sure if arcade cartridge collectors were cool enough for that party. ;)

I've been there for a couple of years or so.. not that my collection has grown much in that time (still only have 2 cocktails: Ms. Pac and Super Pac).

The worst part of the society is the automatic audit that you have to do every six months. I swear, it feels like I get that email every third week.

HI!

I see no reason why you should not register your MVS collection with VAPS.
If you look at some of the other members collections they consist of nothing else but MVS.

The only two things that i noticed about VAPS which were odd are:

1.)All your entries have to be in 100% working order that seemed obvious, but looking at some of the members collections you notice a few have included faulty items in their collection listing as well.
(i decided to enter just my working collection-32 items)

2.)The games in your collection will only be excepted in the listing if they appear in the Killer List Of Videogames (KLOV)
The KLOV is quite vast but not perfect i have a game called `Desert Breaker`by SEGA its not in the KLOV so icould not enter the game into my collection listing.
Anyway i say gofor it Clubninja!

I'm registered there... surprisingly, a couple of people have contacted me through that site with questions.

I think they didn't want people with *just* dead stuff. What else is the 'comments' section for?

Same here, usually people looking for the Aero Fighters dip switch settings. (were pretty hard to find)

I thought they used to say something to the effect of "one working complete game".....but then again I haven't been over there in a while, if you can just do boards, then I'm in (and they work, just no cab for me )

Actually Tom61 if you visit the link below for VAPS new members it requests all games must be 100% working (Rule no.4/line 3).So in theory there should be no faulty items listed at all :P
