A local store near me has a factory sealed C64....it's a later version, but it's brand spanking new in a new looking box. Worth picking up? I can probably get it very reasonably. Would anyone want it?? What the heck is something like that worth these days?

I might be interested in it ... what are they wanting for it? I can't imagine they are worth much. The worst part is, I'd probably open it and start using it, my SID chip died on my old '64 and I can't find my 128 power supply, so all I have left right now is my SX64.

One question: how much?
Whatever you're going to pay, it's going to be a good deal, especially since I know you have a good head on your shoulders about these things.

I can probably get it for around $10, but I wouldn't bother if it's not worth anything, due to the size of the unit and shipping hassles. I figured if it was worth anything... $30-40 for example, I'd buy it and resell it.

If you can get it for $10, I'd pay ya $20 +shipping.
