I have this idea that i'd like to see made into an atari 2600 homebrew. Basically it is a parody on Frogger and its Called "Walker". You play as an elderly person at a retirement home who uses a walker trying to make it to the top of the screen where your daily meds are located. Instead of cars , you have to dodge various elderly people on speeding wheel chairs, scooters, and hospital beds.

If any one is interested on developing this game just tell me since i dont have the abiliity or knowledge to program games.

That idea could be done by hacking Frogger. Hacking is a lot easier than programming from scratch. It is basically a trial and error learning process.

If you want to give it a try check out the Hack Forum at Atariage:

There are plenty of people who will help you get started.

If you were going to make a hack, Freeway might be a better game to start with since Frogger "jumps" when he moves. Among other reasons.

you know i think that would be a better game to hack. thanks for the suggestion. i think i'll need a different name cause "Walker" doesn't have the kick that it needs. Maybe "Geriatric Dodge'n'Dash"
