This isn't really news, but Metroid: Zero Mission's going to have the classic No Suit Samus, except (as with the rest of the game) sporting a new look:

Her hair is up...that's certainly different than the original. No skin showing either (no bathing suit, period---lol, it's a wetsuit!!).

Well, yeah, no green hair helps add to the impression it's different, as well ;)
Yes, the blonde hair done up (how efficient such a hairstyle would be plastered inside a power suit is a thought exercise best left up to the viewer's imagination) is quite a departure from what we've seen before. I knew that they'd moved to a blonde version as in the Smash Brothers statue (and, er, other places had it too, such as the MDB's bobblehead).
I personally think her suit looks like a runner's suit, not a wetsuit.
Also note how huge her stride is -- it looks like she's sprinting. Will the sprite's movement across the surface keep pace with the animation? In any case, this confirms something we've known for years:
Samus = endurance champion, suit or no suit :P

Wait a sec . . . Here's Samus.

And here's Nova from Starcraft: Ghost.

Hmmm . . .
And now, the history of Samus' hair color: It was green or brown at different points in the original Metroid, blond in the Captain N comics (http://www.kidfenris.com/samuscomic1.jpg), slightly dark in Metroid II, blond in Super Metroid, and purple in Nintendo Power's Super Metroid comic. And since Super Metroid, she's been blond. The end.

I never knew Samus was a SPACE SLUT.
That nose is at least two pixels long. Goodness gracious. Still, it's something I felt was sorely missing from Super Metroid as an option to run through the game a second time.

I don't believe those pixels are there to represent her nose. I believe that's just part of her hair dangling.

I do hope so. It seems to me that the suit's helmet wouldn't have space inside it for a nose that big anyway.
The bit about Nova from SC: Ghost is interesting, too o_O
