the one with the blue disk drive is the development version.
you see these relatively often compared to other dev hardware, ecspecially in japan.
i assume nintendo gave them away for free to developers back in the days.
yes, its a legit 64dd dev drive, but 200 without box(these had a special box thats different from the normal 64dd box) is a bit too expensive for my taste.
i'll post here if i see another dev unit on yahoo.jp.

Its a 64DD dev kit with a manual and bottom part of the box for 225$
There are also other official N64 development stuff being sold...

the long n64 flashcarts are super-sexy, but i dont see any advantages over a normal 64dd with the 64dd dev unit.
except for the option to play dev disks.
if somebody will ever find a 64dd proto, that is. ;)
