Well, I dropped in today to see what's on sale since their going out....They had tons of gaming related figs, all 20% off. The Joyride Gamepro figs were everywhere at $4.99 (before discount). Got some SSX Tricky, Beat from JSRF, both Cel Damage figs, and the Earthworm Jim figs by some other company. They had 10 inch (!) Mega Man figs at $9.99 but they only had Mega Man X left. Ultima online figs were $5.99 and they had the entire set including the kick ass dragon-thing with the see-through blood red wings. Games were all 20% off as well and I picked up some GBA games.
I was also told that they were getting a shipment yet from a closed warehouse sometime next week...800 more assorted figures!!!!! :eek 2: Can't wait.

Is this just one KB or all of them?

All. However, the extent of the sales seem to vary from store to store.

I know the one in my Mall is closing too. I never thought to look for figures. I was only looking for games. Silly me. (BTW, no games. They cleared them out a while ago. Only leftovers now.)

Nice my friend, Beat from JRF is awesome. KB toys was doomed from the start, with the dumpy appearance and whatnot.

Its chapter 11 bankruptcy, which is the same thing Kmart went through. Some stores will close down, the remaining will be re-structured.
CAG has a list of all closing stores.

500 of the stores are closing. There's a list at www.cheapassgamer.com
Oh... those Earthworm Jim figures... heh. Those are EXTREMELY old stock of theirs. I'm 14 now, but I remember playing with some when I was younger (5 I think, maybe 7). Has anyone bought any of the new Megaman figures? I was tempted to buy the whole set of 6-inchers at TRU, but they looked sorta crappy.

This may be even better...
KB Toy Works and Toy Outlet stores have boat loads of OLD stuff (One down here has baseball cards from 1989, board games from earlier...) and the stuff is priced to move. If one of your outlets is shutting down, the discounts could be really noteworthy.

I bought one of the 10 inchers. They didn't have any of the 6 inch which is really what I wanted. :( Anyway, he's not bad, but his joints were real loose and I had to tighten a few of them (they must know there's a problem since there's a note inside the box). A few joints like his wrists are still real loose with no way to tighten.

Think you can point me in the direction of the list? I didn't see it on the front page nor any mention of it...

Which KB GamerReviewGod?
I wish the 10 inch MM came in Classic version. The 6 inch ones do. They had a ton of 6 inch at the Spring Meadows Plaza a few weeks back.

Boy, I wish there was one of the outlet stores near here. I can remember going to one and just going " @_@ " from the inventory.

Try this, I'm not sure if it's 100 % correct or not. I didn't want to sign up at CAG just for the list. LOL

Which KB GamerReviewGod?
The one on Laskey at miracle Mile. The Spring Meadows store isn't closing, so I guess I'll end up getting the 6' figs off E-bay. Were they on sale or marked down at all Spoon?

We have one store closing here, but it was essentially an overstock / clearance store already. It had nothing but absolute garbage in it - I'm not surprise it's closing. The only things even remotely tempting were those mini MOTU figurines and the LEGO stuff, and the latter wasn't marked down at all even though the store was closing. Their selection of game stuff was almost nonexistant, but I did find a pack of two PS1 memory cards for $3.
Those new Mega Man figures are pretty neat, I think. They have the 6" ones here for $5.99. You can get that online. I only got Mega Man X, Bass, and Vile (the two "bad guys" are fairly rare, from what I've seen). What I also wanted was a few of the armor sets that they've also sold for the Mega Man toys, but the TRU I was at was all sold out of them, and I haven't seen them anywhere else. Actually, I have seen the Gaia and the Force armor kits (whatever those are), but they also had an Ultimate one on the box that I haven't seen anywhere.
It looks like those old 1995 Mega Man figures are starting to increase in value, too...I still have one of those MIB. Nice.
