Last time I tried one of these offers, I ended up getting a subscription invoice within their 6-8 week timeframe. Well I've got one thing to say to you EGM... GOOD LUCK COLLECTING ON THAT WITHOUT A VALID PHONE NUMBER :evil:

Yeah I guess that was my deal with EGM too... I thought my regular sub was running out (not that I would renew anyway, Play suits my needs and tastes much better). That's dirty though, trying to fool people into a "free" subscription that's basically a mailed out lapcard. Fuck you EGM!

Well, I signed up for this GamePro mag last time the freebies were rolling around, and I got it, and still am. Only problem is, the magazine sucks. Even the letters section, IMPOSSIBLE TO RUIN, is ruined. Oh well, well worth the $0 I payed.

Bah, yet again they don't allow Canadians to sign up... yet they're too stinkin' lazy to remove the "Country" entry box (which defaulted to Russia for some unknown reason), so I signed up anyways.

I haven't gotten anything from EGM either--when I signed up for the "free" subscription, they said we would get the first issue in 3-6 weeks, well that was over 2 months ago--nothing.... :angry:
