I'm curious who has bought the game Feet of Fury on these boards? It was released at last year's Midwest Classic event by GOAT Store Publishing, a little thing my partner Gary and I started. Personally, I love the game and I want to know what some other people's opinions are on it.

For some more detail on mine:

I bought both DDR imports when FoF was in development to try to find out what I liked about those games. The result was that the early version of FoF that I was playing was about 100 times better than DDR (I think) and I was truly amazed by everything included in FoF -- especially the amount of music.

I really like Typing of Fury. I really enjoyed Typing of the Dead, and I think that Typing of Fury is one of the most unique things that you can do with the Dreamcast keyboard.

Overall, I actually rank Feet of Fury up with Samba for playability and fun factor. What does everyone else think?

Oh yes, if you want more info on the game check out the GOAT Store in my sig and it's on the front page right now :)

I actually just bought mine. I ordered it a little over a week ago, but I wasn't home until Friday to open it up. I didn't really have too much free time to play it, but I did throw it in to make sure everything was okay with out. Seems like a really neat game. I can't wait until I have some free time to try the Typing game. I bought the autographed version for $1.00 more just 'cuz I figured What the Hell. It is very professionally made up and should be a nice addition to anyones collection.

"Feet of Fury" sounds like a video game based on Riverdance. ;)

So, I searched for "typing" at the GOAT store and nothing came up. Is Typing of Fury still available there?

Why does this sound like a sales pitch? :hmm:

Anyway, I haven't gotten it yet mainly because I haven't found some PSX to DC contoller adaptors (so I can use my pads). Bundle a couple of those with the game (or just sell them, period), and your sales will probably increase.

It's the same game from what I remember.

Because anyone who starts a thread about their own game is automatically asking if people have bought it  I'm mainly curious because we've commited to producing and releasing a number of Dreamcast games, and I would like to talk to the people that have the first game to know what their thoughts were on everything. That will greatly help us decide what to do with the future releases, that look like they could number more than 10 this year...

I'd love to sell them, but the truth is they are not easy to find. We had Dreamcast dance pads on the site for the longest time, and quite honestly that didn't really affect sales one way or another. In fact, it was kind of rare for someone to purchase the game and the pads at the same time. Considering you can get the same pads equally cheap at Lik-Sang (and the game too), it doesn't make sense for us to get a ton more.

Oh yes...

Typing of Fury is part of the original game. It is kinda a little add on for you.

What is everyone's thoughts on the packaging? Was it great, should we do more? Is it too much?

Thanks :)

I meant to pick this game up for my friend for christmas (since he loves DDR), but I can't say I ever got around to it. Maybe I'll get it for him as a belated present whenever I have the money to spare.

I've got it, but honestly it's in my "vast sea of backlogs". I just ordered Chikugoyaku from CDC.

I'd never heard of a Dreamcast dance pad before. Where could I find one?

Feet of Fury sounds great (I'm a sucker for dance games), but there's not a whole lot of information about it on your site. For example, where'd you get the music for it? Screenshots would be nice, too.

Yeah, I apologize. We've been devoting all of our time to creating Site4 lately, and we even removed our old product information page on accident :( The best place to check out more information about the game is probably http://www.feetoffury.com/

The music is done by a few different groups, and a lot of it (IMHO) is really quite good. FoF has become a game that I'll pop in and just listen to music while I'm doing other stuff.

I ordered it not long after it was released, though haven't spent as much time with it as it deserved. Haven't even tried Typing of the Fury yet. It's been pretty intense the times I've played it, though.

I intend to buy it, but am unsure of the dreamcast/pad issue. I don't want to buy new pads. Does anyone know where you can get a couple of dc/psx adapters?

Or for that matter, Dreamcast-native dance pads, for those of us that don't have a PSX dancepad?

I have a copy, but not exactly by choice. I won it along with a crappy dancemat when I was crowned the official world grandmaster Feet of Fury champion at the CGE tournament last year.

Seeing as how I got my copy for free, it's not that bad of a game. I could never justify paying real money for it, though.
