About 3 weeks ago I won an auction on eBay for a model 1 Sega Genesis and 12 complete games. I used to own a model 1 Genesis but sold it in a yard sale in '97 after the r/f switch died and I couldn't play it any more. Anyways, back to the present. A picture of the auction I won can be found below. The auction included the following: Sega Genesis system with 12 games, 2 controllers, AC adapte, original Sega Genesis RF switch that came with the consoler and original instructions. Each game has it's original box with the original instructions. The games are as follows:
Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Sonic Spinball
NFL '95
Street Fighter 2 Special Championship Edition
Mutant League Hockey
Rocket Knight Adventures
Liberty or Death
NHL '96
Ms. Pacman
Powermonger
Zombies Ate My Neighbors

I won the auction for $38.55 and shipping cost me $9.00 so I got all of the above listed shipped to my front door for under $50. Looking at some prices for games on eBay and on this site I think I got a pretty good deal on the beginning of my new Sega Genesis collection. What does everyone else think??

Thanks.

Welcome to the forums, segagenesis1989! Enjoy your stay!

Not a bad start for collecting genesis, I'd say the highlights from this lot would be : (from a collectors standpoint)

Mutant League Hockey (high demand game and somewhat hard to find)
Liberty or Death (It's from Koei, say no more :) )
Ms. Pacman (The classic)
Powermonger (Underrated EA title, good find complete)

The other games aren't too bad either, most are more common, but if they are in nice shape, it's definitely a good start. :) If you have any questions, just drop me a PM, I'd be happy to help you out.

uh... I definately wouldn't pay that much for those games, but it's decent if you got a lot of extra money to blow.

It would cost more to buy them a gameStop. x_x

Yeah, $3.21 was a little high for two complete sports games x_x , but $3.21 for the other complete games (technically speaking with a free system to boot) was a steal :eek 2:
