Hi, I hope one of you NES collectors can help me out. I was wondering if all NES games had the horizontal seal on the back. I came across a sealed Action 52 at a garage sale but it doesnt have the horizontal seal. It was still a steal but I was hoping it was factory sealed, not a reseal. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Most of the unlicensed games do NOT have the horizontal seal.

Action 52 is one such title.

Hope this helps.

Isn't that the truth though, it seems like I myself only come across play action fb or some other bullshit. I want to find something good!
Just curious, what did you pay for the game?

I have never found a sealed Nes game in the wild :(I did. I think it was original. Either way, I passed it up.. stupidly. Ultima something or other. Damn, I still kick myself. Oh well. (Actually, I wish I could go back and grab ALL the boxed NES games I saw that day. Instead of just SMB3.)

Live and learn my friend, live and learn...I still wish I had got that Mega Man X3 for 3.00 that time. Damn.

I too have not come across a sealed NES game. I've found Dragon Warrior 3 and Game Action Replay, but not even a sealed Play Action football. :o
